How to create a planet in Adobe Photoshop


in this lesson i'm going to teach you how to create a planet in using Adobe Photoshop in just a few simple steps.
1) open a 400*400 transparent document , press (D) to reset your foreground and background colors to their default settings
2) select the elliptical marquee tool ( the circle selection tool) from the tool box and create a circle in the middle of the page.

3) now go to the menu bar, select filter>>render>>clouds

4) go again to the menu bar, select filter>>render>>difference clouds to repeat the filter press ctrl+f 3 times to get the right effect.

5) go to the menu bar again , select filter >> sharpen >> unsharpen mask and enter the number 400 in the amount box, 3 in the radius box, and 15 in the threshold box.

6) go to the menu bar again , select filter >> distort>> spherize , and enter the amount 100.

7) repeat step 6 but instead of entering 100 in the amount box , enter 50 this time.

8) go to the menu bar, select filter >> sharpen>> unsharpen mask and enter 200 in the amount box, 3 in the radius and 15 in the threshold box.

9) you have just created your first planet using Adobe photoshop, now to add some colors to the planet press ctrl+u to bring out the hue and saturation box, check the box next to colorize and move the sliders to give your planet the color that you want. and that's it.
