Transform Command

To Open The Transform option, click on Edit then Transform. This will open a side drop menu that includes it's options. To choose free transform You can either Choose edit then Free transform, or use the short cut Ctrl+T (more about the free transform option)

 

Now here are the options of the Transforming commands

 

The white squares on the edges of the text are the ones that you would use to transform the object when selecting any of the transforming options below.

  1. Again  (available in Cs,Cs2,Cs3)  This would re-apply the last transform you had done Again.

  2. Scale  (available in Cs,Cs2,Cs3) This would transform vertically, Horizontally and would also Transform the Height and width. Holding the shift key would preserve a fixed ratio while dragging in the transformation
  3. Rotate  (available in Cs,Cs2,Cs3) This would help you rotate the area.
  4. skew  (available in Cs,Cs2,Cs3) This option is applied to corners increments. Ctrl + Shift + Drag: Skews transform  with 45° increment
  5. Distort and Perspective (available in Cs,Cs2,Cs3) By choosing the distort option or by Holding the Ctrl button while dragging any of the corners.
  6. Wrap  (available in Cs,Cs2,Cs3) This would help you making a wrapping effect over the Transforming area.
  7. Rotate 180  (available in Cs,Cs2,Cs3) This would help you rotate the area but with a preset measurement of 180.
  8. Rotate 90 CW  (available in Cs,Cs2,Cs3) This would help you rotate the area but with a preset measurement of 90 in a clockwise movement.
  9. Rotate 90 CCW  (available in Cs,Cs2,Cs3) This would help you rotate the area but with a preset measurement of 90 in an anti-clockwise movement.
  10. Flip Horizontal  (available in Cs,Cs2,Cs3) This would help you flip the transforming area Horizontally.
  11. Flip Vertical  (available in Cs,Cs2,Cs3) This would help you flip the transforming area Vertically.

 

Moving Transforming Objects

moving transforming object is done when selecting rolling over the Transform with the mouse Cursor.
Or Numerically by entering the X ( horizontal position )and Y ( vertical position ) position in the Option Bar menu for Transforming. (Every Transforming Option have somewhat Different Option Bar) to know more about it, there are detailed information about the Option Bar of free transform .
