In Photoshop CS3 just like the earlier
versions, Adobe gave the users the ability to set up and save their own custom
workspace, you have no limits on saving custom workspaces in Adobe Photoshop.
What does the Workspace
in Adobe Photoshop CS3 contain: If you go to the menu bar >
window , a sub-menu will appear , that sub-menu is simply everything your
workspace contains:
1. If you click on any of these
menus , a palette will appear on your workspace containing all the options
related to that menu.
2. Of course you don’t want to open all the palettes together
because this will make your working area impossible to deal with, that’s why
Adobe gave you the ability to bring out what you want from these palettes and
hide others.
3. Photoshop Cs3 gives you the ability of auto-hide, or temporarily hide the
palettes, to read more about that please visit "Cs3
Palettes" page.
4. Adobe also gives you the ability to save your custom area so that you
don’t have to waste time setting your workspace every time you open the program
5. Go to Window > Workspace, you’re going to find options related to arranging the
Workspace:
a)Save Workspace : the
ability to save your custom workspace b)Delete Workspace: the
ability to delete your saved custom workspace c)Default Workspace:
setting the workspace according to the default settings that Adobe created for
the program. d)Reset Palette Locations:
if you change palette locations while working, you can reset the locations of
your palettes as you saved them before. e)Reset Keyboard Shortcuts
: This would bring the Photoshop preset shortcuts as they were embedded in
Photoshop, before you applied any change on them f)Reset Menus
: That would bring the menu setting and appearance as it were before you made
any changes to it.
Note that if you want more details about the Workspace Submenu, you can go to
the Workspace page.
